Welcome to BrightFest!

BrightFest is an annual summer charity music festival in the beautiful village of Brightwell-cum-Sotwell in South Oxfordshire. The festival is held at the Recreation Ground and Jubilee Pavilion on Mackney Lane.

After the successful 2024 edition, we hope to see you on 7 June 2025 for BrightFest 25, with more fantastic music, great food and drinks, and awesome entertainment for the kids!

All profits will go to selected community charities and projects.

All t-shirts are made to order and will be available for collection from the Red Lion. Please allow 1-2 weeks for your order to be processed. All major Debit / Credit Cards, Apply Pay and PayPal accepted. You can even pay in 4 interest-free instalments with ClearPay.

Support for Charities and Community Projects

Although access to BrightFest is free, we encourage voluntary donations. We use your donations to support local charity and community projects. BrightFest has supported Save The Children, Maeve's Magical Journey, The Brightwell Scout Group and provided funding towards additional children's interactive play equipment at Brightwell-cum-Sotwell Recreation Ground.

BrightFest’s net proceeds from the 2024 edition will be used to support:

The Brightwell Preschool decking renovation project, which is needed to ensure the safety of the preschool’s outside area.
The redevelopment and extension of the Brightwell-cum-Sotwell Village Hall.
The redevelopment of the Jubilee Pavilion on Brightwell-cum-Sotwell’s Recreation Ground.
The Island Farm Donkey Sanctuary.

In past events, BrightFest was proud to support the following Community Projects and Charities:

A defibrillator at the Jubilee Pavilion.
Refurbishment of the Stewart Village Hall.
Brightwell Preschool and Brightwell Primary School, through money raised by the Kids Zone.
The Bone Cancer Charity, through money raised at the Tea Tent.
